Famous last words. I finished my last blog with the statement that I was too old to do homework.
This was in the context of reading ‘All’s Well That Ends Well,’ which felt like doing homework. (Sorry Mr Shakespeare).
Then, through the week I was reminded of this quote about writing from Lawrence Kasdan. He’s co-written a whole lot of ‘Star Wars’ movies so should know a thing or two.
He says:
Being a writer is like having homework every night for the rest of your life.
Ah well, best back to it.
